There’s not much enthusiasm for beating into the rain to go anywhere today. We motor across to Cowes, where we have the yacht haven more or less to ourselves.
An attempt to buy various bits of waterproof clothing is unsuccessful, but SeaSafe replaces the trigger and cylinder for our danbuoy easily enough. Then it’s round the corner to Lallows, where I get advice on how to dismantle our galley pump.
Supper at Tonino’s is good, but almost as deserted as the marina. Both have a few other customers by the end of the evening.
